Production Opportunities - Bristol TN

Pay: $17/hour

Shift:  Will work 12-hour swing shifts:  6:30am-6:30pm and 6:30pm-6:30am (will include weekends)

Extruder Operator

In this position, you will set-up and operate a minimum of six extruders producing PVC plastic moulding. Perform own tooling change out and die cleaning as well grading own rejects

Duties/Responsibilities

• Run a minimum of six extruders mantaining correct settings
• Bundle and stack moulding as it is extruded
• Monitor color, extrusion rate, profile configuration and piece/bundle count
• Maintain cupply of compound stage at machine
• Maintain extrusion equipment in proper condition
• Perform own tooling change outs an die cleaing and grading own rejects.
• Assist in moving unites of extruded materials when necessary
• Clean any burrs or fuzz off profiles and keep work area clean
• Ensure profiles are all turned the same direction and bundled correctly
• Maintain level of quality consistent with established standards
• Input process data into acquisition system
• Comply with all safety rules, company policies and company procedures
• Maintain constructive working relationships with co-workers/supervisors
• Maintain regular attendance in accordance with company policy.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to stand, reach with hands/arms and talk/hear
• Will be walking, bending, pushing/pulling, lifting up to 50 lbs and occasionally lifting 100 lbs (with assistance).
• Specific vision abilities required include close/distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Utility Operator

This position will support the post extrusion operations including but not limited to sealing, cutting and packaging.  This position will be responsible for off-bearing material, printing/applying labels, cutting material, packing and operating a forklift to move "in-process" and finished product.  Duties vary based on production needs

Duties/Responisibilities:

• Ability to use a stapler, bander and safety knife
• Proficient with labeling software
• Ability to follow quantity and board-width specifications
• Ability to reach digital calipers
• Proficient in all post-extrusion operations
• Forklift experience to operate a forklift
• Maintain a level of quality that is consistent with established standards
• Comply with all safety rules, company policies and company procedures
• Maintain constructive working relationships with co-workers/supervisors
• Maintain regular attendance in accordance with company policy.
